Few are aware that the University of British Columbia (UBC) conducts extensive, and sometimes, highly invasive experiments on animals, including research on cats, pigs, mice, rabbits, rats, non-human primates, and other animals. Stop UBC Animal Research was formed to expose the grim realities of animal research at UBC and to ultimately bring an end to such research. This week, the Vancouver Sun ran a front page story about our campaign and UBC's animal research ("UBC Fears Animal Activists' Campaign"). http://www.vancouversun.com/technology/fears+animal+activists+campaign/3388234/story.html
