About

Skye - Victoria

circa 1973 - circa 2020
The trio started in January 1973 in Victoria, BC. The members were Rick Quatsch (trying to contact him) George Somkuti and Rusty Copeland. George and I still get together occasionally to perform.

L-R Rick, George and Rusty
*The members were, standing on the left is Rick Quatsch, in the middle is George Somkuti and I'm on the right. (Rusty Copeland) George played keyboards and standard and electric accordion, Rick played tenor banjo, mandolin and 6 string guitar. I played 5 string banjo, a bit of mandolin and 12 string guitar. I sang most leads with Rick and George singing lead the odd time and they also sang most of the harmonies. And yes the "INN' is definitely the Medieval Inn on Broad street. *Rusty Copeland July 10/2018
